Overview
Detroit is annual host to
some of the most important conferences and events in the world, such as the
Detroit International Auto Show and SAE World Congress (see our Annual Festivals & Events
page for more information). Add to
that impressive resume the hosting of some of the largest sporting events in
the world -- the 2004 Ryder Cup at Oakland Hills Country Club,
2005 Major League All-Star Game at Comerica Park,
2006 Super Bowl XL at Ford Field, 2009
NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four, and 2010 NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey Frozen
