Outside of the Renaissance Center, very little
large-scale shopping can be found within Detroit's city limits, although retail
development is picking up. But you're
in luck, because an abundance of major shopping centers and malls exist in
the surrounding suburbs. This tour
will take you to three of the best Detroit
area retail meccas for a solid day of shopping 'til you drop. In order to do all three in one day, we
recommend getting started in the morning right when the malls open. Alternatively, pick two of the three to
visit for a more leisurely pace.
Either way, you will find that these malls are well worth the trip!
